:

This position will support the Head of Visual Merchandising and Store Design in the execution of visual merchandising directives and provide guidance to all assigned stores to maximize customer engagement in an inspiring, best in class retail experience.

Develop & Coach sets clear objectives and expectations by coaching team members on store processes, business analysis, merchandise placement and standards, visual display.

Inspire & Motivate: inspires team through creativity, and empowerment; motivating individuals and leveraging the strengths of the team.

Financial: Assesses store business using company reporting tools to identify opportunities for the stores; takes smart visual risks with measurable results to maximize sales and impact customer experience.

Collaboration: Maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives; encourage and demonstrate adaptability to affect change and successfully execute a shared vision.

In order to be considered for this role you must be / have:
  • Strong understanding of Visual Merchandising and a visual eye that incorporates the brand aesthetic and strategies.
  • Proven passion for visual merchandising
  • Knowledge of retail landscape, training methods, visual merchandising and product presentation.
  • Deliver planograms for stores on site at a product level ensuring accuracy and maximizing the best use of space per store.
  • Update planograms on a weekly basis ensuring that low quantity items are monitored, and excess stocks are managed.
  • Strong project management and planning skills. Highly organized with demonstrated follow-through capabilities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of profit and loss statement and store KPIs to make any necessary adjustments to drive commercial success, primarily within VM.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups of varying size.
  • Complete daily/weekly check of each store to ensure VM compliance & solve issue.
  • Develop & Coach store team members on store processes, business analysis, merchandise placement and standards, visual display.
  • Ability to think conceptually, in strategic terms and diagnose and translate sales/category reporting to an in-store training strategy.
  • Maintain VM Fixtures, fitting and tools database for allocated designation.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve established objectives.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members at all levels of the business.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This role will involve additional administrative tasks to provide feedback to key stakeholders (daily/weekly tasks, data & products entry etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Essential:
  • High secondary or equivalent
Desirable:
  • College level course study within Marketing, Visual Merchandising or Design.
Years of Experience:

Essential:
  • 3-4 years Visual Merchandising experience in theme parks/hospitality/retail
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of retail theories, brand retail standards, product merchandising, and product visual displays.
Desirable:
  • 1-2 years of visual merchandising leadership experience required, preferably in a multi-store capacity.
Skills:

Essential:
  • Creative ideation, Visual merchandising, window installation.
  • Good understanding of business and financial concepts and demonstrated ability to lead the team to drive results.
  • Established time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e., verbal, non-verbal, visual) with the ability to communicate effectively in public to both small and large groups.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a positive attitude Highly motivated self-starter with good initiative.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Desirable:
  • Proficiency in other languages a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Sketch up or CAD.
