VIP Waiter / Waitress
Reports To: Head Waiter/Waitress, Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:
The VIP Waiter/Waitress provides an unparalleled, discreet, and highly personalized dining experience for the restaurant's most esteemed guests, VIPs, and regular patrons. This role requires exceptional product knowledge, anticipation of guest needs, and the ability to deliver flawless, memorably elegant service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide discreet, attentive, and anticipatory service to VIP tables.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the entire menu, daily specials, wine list, and spirits.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen and sommelier to orchestrate multi-course tasting menus.
- Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and celebrations with utmost discretion and efficiency.
- Build rapport with regular guests, remembering preferences and details.
- Assist in mentoring junior wait staff on service standards.
- Manage the presentation and timing of courses at an expert level.
- Significant fine-dining or luxury hospitality experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail service.
- Impeccable professionalism, etiquette, and personal presentation.
- Ability to remain calm, polished, and proactive under pressure.
- Excellent communication and intuitive guest-relationship skills.
