The VIE will be responsible for supporting/assisting the following work:

\xe2\x97\x8f Assist in the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and guidelines to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with Data Engineer and the DB&T regional team to define strategies aiming to streamline data flow and integration processes.

\xe2\x97\x8f Contribute to the launch and management of the first regional data products and services portfolio, including referentials, a data catalog, regional dashboard\xe2\x80\xa6

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.

\xe2\x97\x8f Support various data department programmes, including the Data Capture Programme, Master Data Management, and Implementation of a Dashboard Factory.

\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and address data-related issues or challenges that may impact data operations.

\xe2\x97\x8f Support the Data Acculturation initiatives and contribute to training programs and workshops to enhance awareness and adoption.

\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate and coordinate with Regional Data Communities, including Data Owners, Legal & DPO, and Business Analysts, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

\xe2\x97\x8f Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data requirements to deliver actionable insights.

\xe2\x97\x8f Extract, process, clean and analyze large sets of different domain data to solve most use cases for operation and customer-centric projects.

\xe2\x97\x8f Assist in the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards using tools like Looker Studio and Power BI.

Qualifications

A Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

A year of proven experience in data governance and management, with exposure to consulting or related experience.

Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic and/or French would be a plus.

Certifications in relevant areas such as data governance, GCP/AWS cloud platforms, or project management would be advantageous.
