THE ROLE:

Part of the Dubai Regional Office Operations Team, covering the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Indian Ocean Islands, Southern & Eastern Africa, you are reporting directly to the Head of Operations & Procurement. You are responsible for being the Transversal bridge between DRO Operations & Procurement verticals, while supporting with Analytics, Observations, Reports & updates of Operations databases.
Working closely with Agencies, DRO and HO Teams, you ensure the alignment of KPI\'s and processes for operations and Tools adaptation & developments to support the activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work collaboratively within DRO Operations / Procurement & 3rd Party Feeder Teams to optimize Group synergies.
• Work closely with DRO / Operations (at head office) & Agents to implement Group processes, Tools & KPIs.
• Coordinate with DRO Operations and Agencies for Operations KPI analysis & follow up on action plans.
• Close follow-up on extra costs, impacts of special incidents and bridge between verticals.
• Prepare Unit cost analytics / Benchmark for Operations Head Office Department\'s final review with RCC & Agents.
• Gather Market intelligence, benchmark rates, comparative performance, etc for Terminals.
• Support monitoring volume progression & drive exceptional actions for meeting objectives.
• Support Terminal impact assessment studies and Executive summaries prior negotiations.
• Gather Market intelligence on volume flows, rates & 3rd Party Feeder fleet changes & provide reports.
• Monitor Charter, Bunker conditions, prepare key slot costs studies for 3rd Party Feeder tender reviews.
• Agency SOA coordination for Terminal & 3rd Party Feeder vendors, intervene, escalate for resolutions.

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Master\'s Degree in Shipping / Logistics or Business / Finance Analytics/ Engineering.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Qlicksense, other BI Tools, adaptable to software applications.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, including fluency in English.
• Should be well focused, highly analytical and result driven.
