Ontime Group is excited to invite applications for the position of Veterinary Surgeon (Orthopedics) with MOCCAE certification at our advanced veterinary practice in Abu Dhabi. This role is tailored for a dedicated orthopedic specialist who is committed to delivering exceptional surgical care to animals. You will be part of a thriving team, focusing on diagnosing and treating orthopedic disorders through innovative surgical techniques and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed orthopedic evaluations and diagnostic procedures to develop effective treatment plans. Perform a variety of orthopedic surgeries, including but not limited to fracture repairs, joint surgeries, and surgical interventions for congenital abnormalities. Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring the overall well-being and recovery of patients. Collaborate effectively with other veterinary professionals to provide holistic care and improve patient outcomes. Educate pet owners on treatment options, recovery protocols, and preventative orthopedic care. Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in veterinary orthopedics to enhance practice standards. Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree recognized by MOCCAE. Must possess a valid veterinary license from MOCCAE to practice in Abu Dhabi. A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in veterinary orthopedics. Demonstrated expertise in performing a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Compassionate and detail-oriented with a genuine passion for animal welfare. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently when needed. Dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in veterinary medicine. Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
