The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals, diagnosing and treating diseases, and ensuring the overall health and wellbeing of both domestic and wild animals. This position requires a valid MOCCAE (Ministry of Climate Change and Environment) license for practicing as a veterinarian in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general veterinary care, diagnosis, and treatment to animals (pets, livestock, wildlife, etc.).
Conduct routine and emergency surgeries, including spaying, neutering, and other necessary procedures.
Administer vaccinations, deworming, and other preventive treatments.
Examine and diagnose animal health conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
Advise clients on animal care, nutrition, and health management.
Maintain accurate patient records and reports in compliance with regulations.
Monitor and maintain the health of animals under long-term care.
Provide guidance to animal caretakers or owners about preventive health measures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices and regulations.
Comply with all UAE laws and MOCCAE regulations related to animal health and welfare.
Participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure and knowledge of veterinary science.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
A valid
MOCCAE license
is required to practice as a Veterinary Doctor in the UAE.
Proven experience in veterinary care (X years preferred).
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments.
Ability to perform surgeries and other medical procedures.
Compassionate and patient with animals and their owners.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid UAE driving license may be required for travel to different locations (if applicable).
