Job Description

The Hills Veterinary Clinic is looking for a GP Veterinarian to join our medical team.

Responsibilities:

Examine animals and perform thorough medical assessments to diagnose illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.

Develop and implement treatment plans based on accurate diagnoses, considering the best interests of the animals and their owners.

Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments to animals as needed, following proper protocols and guidelines.

Perform surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, tumor removals, and orthopedic surgeries, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals.

Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and X-rays, to aid in diagnoses and monitor treatment progress.

Provide advice and counseling to pet owners regarding proper animal care, nutrition, behavioral issues, and preventive healthcare measures.

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of veterinary services.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patients, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.

Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Adhere to all applicable veterinary regulations, ethical standards, and best practices to ensure the highest level of care and professionalism.

Foster positive relationships with clients and develop strong communication channels to address their concerns, answer questions, and provide support.

Contribute to the overall growth and success of the veterinary practice by actively participating in marketing initiatives, client education programs, and community outreach activities.

Qualifications:

Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution.

Valid veterinary license to practice in the UAE or eligibility to obtain the license.

Proven experience as a Veterinary Doctor, preferably in a multi-species clinic or hospital setting.

Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, surgery, and animal care protocols.

Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions in different animal species.

Excellent surgical skills, including experience with common veterinary procedures.

Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and ability to interpret results accurately.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and empathize with pet owners.

Compassionate and patient approach to handling animals and clients, particularly in high-stress situations.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate medical records.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
