Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine,
Proven practical experience in diagnosing animal diseases and providing effective treatment, with strong herd health management capabilities.
Experience in poultry and ostrich farming is considered an added advantage.
Ability to detect infectious and non-infectious diseases at early stages and develop effective treatment and prevention plans in line with approved veterinary protocols.
Hands-on experience in implementing vaccination programs, parasite control, and preventive health management.
Strong ability to control and optimize rearing conditions, including housing, ventilation, stocking density, nutrition, and water quality, to ensure animal welfare and improve productivity.
In-depth knowledge of biosecurity principles, isolation procedures, and emergency disease response.
Ability to supervise, guide, and train staff on proper animal health, hygiene, and biosecurity practices.
Competence in maintaining accurate veterinary records and preparing professional reports.
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, with high professional ethics and accountability.
