The Venue Safety & Security Coordinator (Stadiums) shall provide support to the Stadium Venue Safety & Security Manager (VSSM) as follows:
To act on behalf of the VSSM during periods of his absence
To ensure the Stakeholders’ communication (FIFA, Supreme Committee, SSOC, Other FAs of Q22, other external stakeholders) in terms of the Stadium security
To act as a liaison with key stakeholders within the area of responsibility in respect of the planning and operational activities
To track and control the key tasks of the Program Plan within the area of responsibility
To develop the planning documentation within the area of responsibility
To participate and to contribute to the security policies, procedures and planning for the Stadiums.
To develop and to review the project documentation of the Stadiums in terms of security
To develop of DOT & Deployment plans for Bump in, Operations and Bump out periods.
To assist in the development of the overlay, FFE, TEAP planning requirements for the Stadiums.
To interact with the FIFA, the state authorities and the venue owners within the scope of the responsibility
To prepare the reporting materials within the area of responsibility
To maintain a register of open issues and provide updated information to the VSSM for further escalation process.
To review and to monitor the related legislation, bylaws, other related documents to ensure the compliance with FWC operations
To develop the detailed project plan within the scope.
To plan and manage the provision of the private security services in the stadium upon the request of the VSSM.
To take part in the development and the implementation of the venue safety and security operational plan.
To take part in development and ensure the implementation of the policies and procedures within the area of the responsibility
Others:
To perform any other duties assigned by the VSSM directly related or relevant to the job
To ensure the assigned responsibilities are delivered:
To a high standard of quality and timeliness and In full compliance with the Q22 internal quality policies and the Safety and Security rules and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equal education
Experience:
Minimum 6 years working experience
Experience in the organization of major sporting events is essential, previous FIFA events experience would be an advantage
Experience of interaction with state authorities would be an advantage
Understanding the security of major sports events timeline and structure
High organizational and communication skills
Experience in negotiations at the highest level would be an advantage
Skills:
English fluency – spoken and written (required)
Arabic fluency – spoken and written (preferred)
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
Planning software and online collaboration tools (an asset)
