Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
The Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall condition of company vehicles. This role ensures vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards while leading maintenance staff and coordinating repair schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily vehicle maintenance and repair operations Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance programs Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure safety and roadworthiness Manage and guide mechanics and maintenance staff Coordinate with external service providers and vendors when required Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and service logs Control maintenance costs and ensure efficient use of resources Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in vehicle supervision Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures Ability to lead and manage a team effectively Good organizational and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping Relevant technical certification or diploma is an advantage.
