Ideal Candidate Should:
- Maintenance and building of virtual appliances images.
- Development of middleware for virtual appliances.
- Extending middleware features, testing and removal of security vulnerabilities from the code
- Providing support for technical releases through established pipelines and build processes.
- Fixing bugs in deployed solutions
- Providing technical support to clients for high severity issues for virtual appliances related issues.
- Maintenance of Integration testing infrastructure
- Collaborating with other engineering teams on related projects.
- Experience in Java, JavaScript, Typescript.
- Basic knowledge of Node JS and Angular JS is desirable.
- Excellent coding skills and basic understanding of design patterns, OOP and data structures.
- Comfortable writing scripts with python, go and bash.
- Experienced in relevant tools such as GIT, Maven, Spring, SonarQube
- Good understanding of computer networking and familiar with the use of relevant tools and concepts such as proxies, load balancers, iptables, tcpdump, DNS, TLS, MTLS and HSM
- Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization protocols such as Kerberos, RADIUS and SNMP is a plus.
- Familiarity with cryptography and PKI
- Good knowledge of Linux and experience working with Redhat/CentOS and Debian
- Experience with Ansible and HashiCorp tools especially Packer and Vagrant.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CDN, DDOS security tools and Object Stores.
- Basic knowledge of cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with CI and CD.
- Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus for alerting.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks such as selenium is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good communication and team working skills are essential.
Ideal Candidate Should:
- Have ability to understand complex systems.
- Work independently, and at the same time be able to raise/flag/elaborate on any concerns promptly.
- Highly organized and methodical. Capable of understanding the high-level picture and at the same time capable of drilling down to the specifics, providing meaningful information from his analysis.
- Imperative that the candidate can understand inputs, key components and data collection points, and monitoring.
