. The selected individual will be responsible for handling
UAE VAT-related assignments
, including VAT registrations, deregistrations, refund applications, and related compliance tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their expertise in UAE tax compliance within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit VAT registration applications through the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal
Manage VAT deregistration processes as instructed
Compile and submit VAT refund claims, and follow up with UAE tax authorities
Support the UAE team with VAT-related ad hoc assignments
Collaborate with UAE-based consultants and ensure internal procedures are followed
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all correspondence and submissions
Qualifications & Requirements:
1-2 years of experience working on UAE VAT matters
Solid understanding of FTA portal processes and VAT regulations in the UAE
Demonstrated ability to handle registration, deregistration, and refund applications independently
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PDF tools, and document management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be based in Sharjah or willing to commute to the Sharjah office daily
Able to meet deadlines and manage tasks independently
