Overview of the role

Responsible for Coordination, Management, Supervision and implementation of the overall QA/QC plan and policies of the works/project

What you will do

Key Accountability 1:

Coordinates Contractor/Team on Employer's/Project QA/QC requirements to ensure Contractor commitment and compliance is in line with Employer's site specific quality requirements and procedures

• Maintaining the Inspection Request Register
• Maintaining the Material Approval Register
• Conducting the Planned inspections

Key Accountability 2:

Verifying the Construction and installation methods of construction and ensure that QA/QC procedures are adequately implemented

• Assisting/Providing inputs for the preparation of documents such as Method Statements, O&M Manuals, KPIs, etc
• Follow up Construction team for implementation or quality plan
• Follow up with Civil works team for different service interfaces

Key Accountability 3:

Assisting Sub-Contractor's on Project Quality Plan, QA/QC Procedures, Site Activities and submit report to Employer and follow-up on Remedial Actions to be implemented by Contractor

• Sending reminders to Construction/Sub Contractors team for un approved works/balance works
• Attending meetings with sub-contractors

Key Accountability 4:

Assisting in QA/QC Performance Reports on weekly, monthly and annually, non-conformance trend analysis, remedial actions, etc. and submit to Employer:

• Follow up with Suppliers/Contractors for catch up plan
• Raising Request for information for any change or deviation in the work

Key Accountability 5:

Assisting in submission of Product Sample, data, Testing Certificates, Material etc. submissions

• Submission of data for Materials approval
• Submission of Third Parties reports for Inspection approval
• Assisting in Mock up approvals for the kick off of the proposed works

Key Accountability 6:

Coordinate with Consultant's Document Controller and QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all documents are properly controlled, Carry out final inspection of work and prepare Punch List

• Raising the required Inspections for Consultant approval
• Proper exchange of information between Contractor and client to be on the same platform in terms of project process

Key Accountability 7:

Attending SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)

• Arranging the Site Acceptance test for the Commissioning of the System
• Arranging Meeting with Client & Employers Document Control for proper flow of information.
