By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every day Overview of the role: The Activations Assistant Manager has the responsibility of supporting and assisting the relevant Automotive brand marketing managers in planning & executing marketing activations, displays, exhibitions, and trade shows, promoting the product & Brand relevant to target customers including but not limited to agency coordination, event set-up requirements, RSVP management with CRM, manpower arrangements. What you will do:
Planning:
Creating and managing an annual calendar across all automotive brands including key product launches and product relevant sponsorships, exhibitions, trade shows and speaking engagements.
Creating and maintaining a strong supplier database including vendor registration with Procurement teams
Conceptualisation & Execution:
Creating meticulously detailed briefing documents for agencies to conceptualise creatively
Assist in the development of the ideas and creative concepts for events and displays
Execute activations from start to finish based on the brief of relevant business heads/ brand marketing managers
Coordinate with Head of PR to ensure active and accurate Press communication per event/ exhibition
Coordinate with social media & performance teams to ensure full coverage of event/ exhibition on owned and paid channels
Procurement & Finance:
Preparation of Request for Proposal documents
Actively participate in vendor evaluation and selection process
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is created and documented
Vendor & Personnel Management:
Source and liaise with brand/product partners and vendors/suppliers for events, activations and exhibitions
Site inspection, venue selection & organizing relevant marketing material
Manage coordination and logistics pertaining to an event or production
Provide logistical support for activities; including transport for brand Principal/ VIP customer visits, events such-as workshops, meetings, conferences
Coordinate promoters and brief team accordingly
Liaising with speakers and preparing speaking notes.
Carrying out post-event surveys where applicable in conjunction with data analytics & CRM teams
Managing the storage requirements/disposal of obsolete and disposable items with authorization from the relevant businesses
Required Skills to be successful:
At least 1 year of events experience in a medium to high growth company
Continuously seeking out opportunities to learn and improve
Good at negotiating, networking and dealing with numbers
Flexible and can adapt
Keen attention to detail along with strong organizational and project management skills.
Results driven with an ability to execute independently
Exceptional organization skills and multi-tasking skills
