Job Description
This role involves preparing and conducting RPAS mapping data collection and aerial seeding operations throughout the MENA region, in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will be working as part of a world-class team on a mission to restore the natural world, using and participating in the development of cutting-edge technology, flying powered lift and multirotor aircraft up to 50kg in remote and challenging environments. - Working closely with both the Country Manager and Flight Ops Development Manager in the organisation and delivery of projects as part of a small team.
- Flight planning, meteorology, system preparation and airspace management in compliance with all relevant regulations, client requirements, and company protocol.
- Preparation of all project and safety documentation required to operate on customer sites.
- Operating RPAS in high safety and remote environments.
- Working with the engineering team to coordinate maintenance work, and the development of new systems.
- Post operations management, including data handover and flight documentation.
- Post operations reporting to help improve our systems as we move forward.

- Work closely with both the Country Manager and Flight Ops Development Manager in the organisation and delivery of projects.
- Lead a team of pilots on customer sites, in the execution of company projects.
- Lead the recruitment of additional team members, in line with the company plan.
Experience requirement:
- Strong understanding of regulations and licenses for flying UAVs in the UAE / Gulf region.
- Strong site management skills with a positive attitude towards safety.
- Ability to build high performing relationships with all stakeholders, both internally, and on a customer site.
- Experience with aerial surveys and photogrammetry data collection.
- Excellent attention to detail, high levels of organisation, and ability to communicate effectively as part of a remote team.
- Enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Ability to manually handle heavy equipment and seed bags.
- Ability to deploy to remote customer sites, intermittently and for extended periods (up to 2 weeks).
- Ability to travel internationally, for extended periods of time for company training and onboarding.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic would be preferable.
Qualification and Licences requirement:
- Right to work in the UAE / Gulf region.
- Current RPAS Commercial Pilot License, with experience operating RPAS in a commercial environment.
- Powered Lift (VTOL) <7kg and Multirotor <25kg, experience with 50kg<150kg medium class RPAS highly regarded.
- Knowledge and/or coursework that relates to surveying is highly regarded.
