Job Title Treasury Manager

Description

The role of Treasury Manager would be to provide a consolidated view of cash flow and the overall group's risk position - this would also include providing a view on how to optimize debt/ manage investment portfolios and minimize any financial implications/ risks to the business.
Monitor treasury functions as per Group policy and in line with local law/regulatory compliance. Ensure Treasury functions of the entities are performed with outmost accuracy and ensure funds in bank accounts and any deviation or discrepancy to be highlighted immediately.
Additional responsibilities include:

• Treasury function optimization
• Monitor group's working capital performance and flag any risks to local and Group CFO,
• Support fund raising activities across the group
• Treasury Risk Management to reduce risk relating to FOREX trading, interest rates and any hedging activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting or relevant field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in a business setting
• A dynamic self-starter who must be prepared to take an active role in the development of operational duties and be prepared to 'roll their sleeves up" given the hands-on style of the wider senior management team.
• Have sound commercial judgment, strong intellect, and the confidence to take the lead in negotiations with both internal and external counterparties.
• Demonstrate excellent persuasive and negotiation skills, as they will be required to represent the group on treasury matters of a complex nature.
• Articulate proposals balance the requirement for technical expertise and can recognize the bigger commercial picture.
