POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the following Transport Activities:

• Manage transport operations to and from Distribution Center
• Identify reliable partners and develop long-term working relationships.
• Define and monitor SLA\'s & KPI\'s with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a local center of competence/main contact for Distribution Center Transport activities

A DAY IN THE LIFE \xe2\x80\xa6

• Liaise with Customer Service Team in terms of planning and organizing shipments to customers by ensuring seamless operation in execution of orders.
• Manage the relationship between Nestl\xc3\xa9 and Land Transport Companies, Shipping Companies and Customs Clearance Agents.
• Coordinate with local authorities (Customs and Municipality) to ensure a smooth flow of containers to and from the Port and to evaluate possible process improvement initiatives.
• Manage the utilization of Leased Equipment for the shuttling of full and empty containers to and from the Port
• Manage the allocation process and monitor the agreed total spend in cooperation with NME Procurement Department.
• Schedule and attend DOR and WOR with Transportation Team
• Monitor and ensure suppliers\' contractual compliance with Nestl\xc3\xa9 Legal, Quality and Safety Principles.
• Manage the P2P process for transport activities to/from DC: Ensuring Purchase Orders are created and communicated to all suppliers on time
• Manage the invoicing process by: Ensuring timely settlement of Supplier invoices o Producing weekly and monthly reports
• Manage Cost and Process Improvement initiatives

What will make you successful\xe2\x80\xa6

• Good knowledge of Logistics & Transport Industry
• Logistics/Supply Chain Management Diploma will be an advantage.
• Degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• Min. 2 years\' experience in Logistics/Freight
• A willingness to work flexibly.
• Good communications skills (written & spoken)
