We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Transport Coordinator / Dispatcher

to manage and oversee our daily transportation operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transport of goods and/or personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong coordination skills, logistical knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. It involve coordinating transport deliveries between drivers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate transportation activities to meet operational needs. Assign drivers and vehicles to delivery or service routes. Monitor transport operations to ensure on-time performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, fuel consumption, and driver hours. Ensure compliance with all transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Liaise with drivers, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues. Arrange for vehicle maintenance, servicing, and regulatory inspections. Use transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools. Assist in managing transportation budgets and reducing operational costs. Investigate and report accidents, delays, or other transportation-related incidents.

Requirements

Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet coordination role.(Preffered)

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license may be required.
