Key Responsibilities
- Conduct transport policy studies and assist in preparing technical reports and presentations
- Suggest and participate in the development of new transportation policies and studies
- Evaluate the impact of various transportation policies and travel demand management measures
- Identify and study transportation planning issues and propose practical solutions
- Analyze different public transport and road network planning options and scenarios
- Plan, design, and supervise travel surveys required for transport policy development
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on transport policy initiatives
- Conduct benchmarking studies and suggest up-to-date policy improvements
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support transport planning efforts
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Urban Planning from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transport policy, planning, or related fields
Skills:
- Strong analytical and technical reporting abilities
- Project management skills with a focus on quality standards and performance evaluation
- Good knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
- Ability to conceptualize transportation challenges and develop effective solutions
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
