Job Description

Our company is looking for Chinese and Russian Speaking Translator/Business Assistant.
The candidate should be based in Dubai. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Listen or read through the material in one language.
• Understand the context and meaning the material.
• Convert the material into the second language while preserving the original meaning.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and other colleagues to understand technical texts.
• Translate material accurately.
• Use online translation tools for additional assistance with translation.
• Use highly specialised translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency.
• Translate different documents, including literary, technical, scientific, legal, research, educational, and commercial materials.
• Holding miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, for example, conducting research, making summary of the meeting, etc.
• Going for business trips.

Requirements:

• Perfect command of target and source languages.
• Extensive knowledge of the culture and society of the country in which the source language is spoken.
• Knowledge of translation techniques.
• Communication skills.
• Precision and reliability.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Tact and diplomacy.
• A knowledge of standard software packages (MS Office) and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.
• Fluent/Native Chinese, fluent/native Russian, spoken English.
