Job Description
Job Summary Training Manager (TM) will lead a collective training to build required operational capability. The TM will lead and operate as part of a multi-cultural collective training team located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position requires experience building a realistic training environment through scalable scenarios. The TM must have experience planning and conducting training seminars. Experience with developing scenarios and conducting training using constructive and virtual simulations is desired. This position requires deep understanding of conducting training events at the tactical and operational levels. Essential Functions
- Apply tactical and operational level experience to conduct training seminars
- Provide a coherent vision for the application constructive and virtual simulations
- Develop training scenarios and simulation-based training exercises
- Define collective training team roles, responsibilities
- Coordinate with the designated UAE representative to schedule training seminars
- Prepare and Lead After Action Reviews
- Identify and document lessons learned
- Coordinate with Corporate Leadership and the customer
- Exhibit culturally appropriate interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Retired Colonel or Cvilian Equivalent with extensive training experience at the tactical and operational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight in a variety of roles
- Demonstrated management and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge training with Coalition partners
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (emphasis in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
- Previous work experience in the Middle East is preferred
- Possess active Secret or higher security clearance
- Possess a valid Passport (with more than 6 months to expiration)
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in military science, national security studies, or a related field
- War College Graduate or MEL 1 equivalent
- Work history in the Middle East desired
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in military science, national security studies, or a related field
- War College Graduate or MEL 1 equivalent
- Ten or more years of military experience in designing, developing and executing multi-echelon, simulation-based training exercises
- Work history in the Middle East desired
