About the job: Kent is recruiting for Training Specialist to support and maximizing the effectiveness of young professional development and to achieve the Program objectives. This role will involve designing and delivering classroom-based learning interventions, overseeing e-learning strategies, managing a Learning Management System (LMS), and contributing to the development of procedures and documentation. The key objectives are:
  • Manage the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Competency Management System (CMS) implementation and processes.
  • Enhance learning and development through competency-based training initiatives,
  • Implement best in class assessment methodologies, quality assurance measures.
  • Engage and contribute to program accreditation processes.
  • Interact with In-Country Value for achieving the National Objectives.
Your responsibilities:
  • Implement and develop Competency training for various engineering disciplines as per best practices.
  • Preparation of programs, method statements, procedures, and routine training schedules.
  • Design and implement assessment methods to measure training effectiveness and individual progress.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of training materials, content, and delivery methods.
  • Prepare and report on training progress, KPIs, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.
  • Plan, Monitor and assist in Vendor activities training.
  • Design and facilitate engaging classroom-based training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Oversee the creation, deployment, and maintenance of e-learning modules.
  • Develop operational procedures compliant to intended international certification.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to obtain program accreditations and certifications and maintain it.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, learning technologies, and training best practices.
HSE AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain standards of HSE and comply with Company\xe2\x80\x99s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements. Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace. Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Work closely with stake holders to achieve company goals, mission, vision, and objectives.
  • Close interaction with departmental staff to accomplish department objectives and KPI\'s.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
  • Qualifications in Adult and Vocational Education
  • Formal qualifications in Oil and Gas Process Operations
  • Formal Business Administrative/Management Qualifications
  • Formal Internal Verifier qualifications
  • Formal Assessor & Training Qualifications
  • Formal Lead Auditor Qualifications relevant experience required
Skills Requirement:
  • +15 years\xe2\x80\x99 of experience in Oil & Gas facilities (or similar)
  • Good understanding of specific training discipline
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering competency-based training programs.
  • Familiarity with various assessment methods and quality assurance techniques.
  • Exposure to the process of obtaining program accreditations and certifications.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for classroom-based training.
  • Experience in document management and procedure development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Good technical knowledge and skills
