Job Summary: The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and safety practices of employees within the Waste Management sector.
This role involves identifying training needs, creating comprehensive training plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving employee development and engagement to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Key responsibilities: Training Needs Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs across all levels of the waste management workforce, including drivers, operators, technicians, and supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role, preferably in the waste management or environmental services industry.
- Knowledge of waste management practices, regulations, and environmental safety standards.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, hazardous materials management, and compliance training.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in designing effective training programs and materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Of.
- Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Waste Management or Occupational Health & Safety. - Familiarity with ISO 14001,45001 & 9001 management standards.
