Position Overview
The Training and Development Manager at Apparel Group is responsible for overseeing all learning and development activities across the UAE and regional markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all training activities in line with organizational objectives
  • Develop new learning and development initiatives tailored to evolving business needs
  • Create and implement the annual training calendar across all brands within the group
  • Guide and monitor the training team to enhance conversion rates and performance outcomes
  • Develop cost-effective training programs that address employee development needs
  • Acquire and deliver product knowledge for new brands in the portfolio
  • Review and improve training content to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Collect and analyze feedback from employees to refine training methods
  • Recommend innovative training materials and delivery approaches
  • Ensure best practices in training and development are applied consistently
  • Measure the impact of training initiatives and maintain detailed training records
  • Design and implement training modules for diverse employee groups
  • Launch in-store and leadership programs to enhance staff and management skills
  • Conduct store visits to assess retail staff skills and provide feedback for improvement
  • Organize third-party mystery shopping assessments to monitor service quality
  • Motivate, lead, and supervise the training team to maintain a culture of learning
  • Oversee manpower planning within the training department to ensure adequate resources
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in training and development, preferably within retail or FMCG
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale training programs
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with multicultural team experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities
  • Knowledge of instructional design, e-learning tools, and training evaluation methods
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness and link outcomes to business performance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
