We are looking for a

Trainer Support - Fashion Design

to assist in delivering fashion design training and providing hands-on support to students in both theory and practical sessions.

Responsibilities

Support the lead fashion design trainer in delivering theoretical and practical lessons, including sketching, fabric selection, pattern making, garment construction, fashion history, and trend analysis. Assist in preparing and organizing lesson materials, samples, tools, and equipment for classes and workshops. Provide hands-on support to students during practical sessions such as sewing, draping, pattern making, and garment fitting. Guide students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and help them improve their technical and creative skills. Assist in monitoring student progress, grading practical work, and providing constructive feedback under the guidance of the lead trainer. Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive studio or classroom environment. Stay informed about current fashion trends, techniques, sustainable practices, and digital fashion technologies to support relevant learning activities. Support administrative and coordination tasks related to training programs, workshops, and assessments as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fashion design, garment construction, or related industry or training support roles. Good working knowledge of garment construction, textiles, pattern drafting, and current fashion trends. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to assist and motivate students. A strong interest in fashion education and a supportive approach to student learning. Prior experience assisting trainers, instructors, or working in an educational or professional fashion environment is an advantage. Awareness of sustainable fashion practices and emerging digital fashion tools is desirable.
