Minimum Qualifications: ? The relevant code of defensive driving license or equivalent. Minimum Experience:
? Minimum of 2 years' experience, or 1 year with the relevant code of license plus a third-party certification driving licence training
1. Prepares the trip documents, obtains the waybill and makes sure that it contains all of the information required (vehicle no., product, source, certification, client, etc.). Gathers all of the documentation and equipment required for the trip (shipping and transportation documents for dangerous materials, analysis certificates, weighment scale certificate, etc.).
2. Inspects the equipment before leaving, records any defects that must be corrected in the inspection report and informs the maintenance coordinator and the logistics supervisor. Checks Customer's Tank specification and condition, roads conditions and reviews the customers' requirements.
3. Delivers the products and insure that the truck is loaded in compliance with the procedures and regulations. Affixes any placards required for dangerous materials. Upon arriving at the delivery site, checks the condition of equipment and facility. Records any defects observed at the facility and submits the record to the supervisor at the end of the trip. Contacts the dispatcher for any delivery noncompliance.
4. Upon returning from the trip, inspect the equipment and records any defects noted for repairs when required. Hands in all of the documentation for the trip so that it can be validated. (Driver to scan and send a scanned copy of all documents to the logistics supervisor).
5. Provides accurate delivery notes for all Company products sold to clients to ensure accurate invoicing. Completes the forms and records for which he is responsible.
6. Works with his team and other multi-functional teams for continuously improve the work process. Analyzes his activities, identifies the causes of problems, and proposes adapted corrective measures.
7. Operates his vehicle in a safe manner. Uses the various types of equipment carefully and cautiously. Reports any dangerous situation or accident quickly to the logistics supervisor and completes an accident report, if necessary.
8. Ensures that all IMS and GIMS procedures for which he has been trained are followed adapted corrective measures. The product in the client's tank in accordance with established procedures.
9. Receive purchased product from a customer's premises, ensure the purity of the products delivered, and unload at the customer's premises.
10. Maintain a regular check on trailer to ensure all travel requirements such as fuel, lubrication, brakes, tire pressures, cooling system, battery, running lights, etc., to maintain safe operations and to avoid trouble and delays.
11. Keep all passes, permits and trainings current and valid for all costumer access and notify when any is close to expiry.
12. On site operations activities such as purging jobs, he is also responsible to take equipment for traffic department for registration and inspection whenever required.
13. Support in giving hands-on training to contractor's drivers or new hired Company drivers. 14. Assist Company fleet maintenance supervisor during maintenance jobs whenever required, he will also receive the equipment from the workshops and reports any nonconformity.
