Job Purpose:



We are seeking a highly driven Traditional Trade Sales Manager to lead and optimize van sales operations across the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in translating commercial strategy into actionable field plans, ensuring excellent route execution, and driving performance across all traditional trade segments--cafeterias, groceries, discounters, wholesalers, and eateries.

Key Responsibilities:



Translate the company's commercial and brand strategies into clear action plans for field execution across all routes and van teams. Lead and manage a team of Van Sales Representatives and Supervisors to exceed monthly sales targets, product availability, and market penetration. Develop and refine journey plans, route efficiency, and territory coverage based on outlet segmentation and sales data. Drive numeric and weighted distribution growth across priority SKUs and categories. Coach, train, and performance-manage van sales teams to maximize selling effectiveness, customer service, and adherence to daily KPIs. Ensure cross-category selling across the portfolio, avoiding single-SKU dependency. Build and nurture strong relationships with key trade customers, ensuring consistent service and execution standards. Develop and implement initiatives to increase number of active customers and frequency of purchase. Monitor competitive activity and trade feedback, and provide regular field intelligence to the sales leadership team. Enforce compliance on collections, reconciliations, asset control, and route level discipline. Deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports in a timely and actionable format.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 8+ years of FMCG experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing van sales or traditional trade operations. Deep understanding of UAE trade channels and customer segmentation. Track record of turning strategy into execution, delivering numeric KPIs, and UAE driving license is a must.
