Position Summary & Main Purpose

The aim of the role is to translate brand plans into On Trade channel strategy & execution, delivering marketing activity that will increase consumer demand for our brands. The role must strategize, develop, and execute the portfolio activation plans for the On Trade channel in Gulf markets. The role will have full responsibility for designing, sourcing and or creating all On Trade tools and assets for deployment across key markets, to build brand equity, drive footfall and increase rate of sales.

Working closely with Brand teams, commercial teams, and customers, this position will design and implement brand activations that take place in venues, in order to build brand equity, drive footfall and increase rate of sales.

Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:

Brand Activation Planning: Prioritize On Trade accounts, prepare annual activation plan & annual A&P budget, RPVA strategy and execution, brand wise activation calendars and implementation in collaboration with all stakeholders Support the creative and design process to create impactful PVA strategies and toolkits / assets to implement in the channel Proactively manage the development and delivery of Brand Plans into agreed On Trade accounts through activations Work with external parties (event agency, advertising agency, production house, etc.) for preparing promotion materials, bespoke visibility and all other localize materials Deliver best in class Brand Activation, category management and merchandising across all touch points Implement bespoke On trade visibility (ad-hoc branding), enhance the cocktail experience and innovate at the point of sale Manage ad-hoc in-venue brand events and activations Assist in analyzing marketing data (RSP pricing, campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies Evaluate activity based on sales uplift, ROI, and specific objectives of each activity Ensure that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines Any other ad hoc projects assigned that could include the launching of a new brand, a brand extension, or a focused drive on a specific existing brand

A&P Management Support to budget and report A&P expenditures in MFM (PR group tool) in compliance with PR reporting guidelines and PR Gulf policies & procedures Manage assigned marketing budget for its effective utilization and undertake course-correction if required. Work in conjunction with Sales team to ensure that identified customers are mutually agreed as appropriate for investment. Manage the A&P Reconciliation of budgets with distributors taking help of RMs and Finance team

Consumer Insights Reports of own and competitor visibility/ activities at outlet level, with photos Identify trends, consumer insights, opportunities to improve brand activation. Track and provide feedback on project implementation and performance to ensure it is in line with the brand's strategy.

Monitoring & Reporting Submit agreed template reviewing previous months performance versus objectives and confirming in a proactive manner the activities / plans for the coming months. Support to monitor brand performance in markets through regular interaction with distributor partners, On trade visits and store checks. Provide monthly recap of all activities and KPI monitoring, report on trends in On Trade communities. Measure and report ROI of activations Report of own and competitor visibility/ activities at outlet level, with photos to wider audience during Sales and marketing meetings

Collaboration and communication Work in conjunction with PRG sales teams to ensure that activation plans are agreed with customers and ensure brand and commercial objectives are achieved Develop and maintain healthy relationship with key accounts and distributors and gather customer intelligence during regular meetings and trade visits Agree and implement plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders as well as presentation of ABP's Work closely with BMs to understand Brand plans and localize them to specific markets Completely own and execute the annual kickstart meetings with distributors Develop a collaborative relationship & communicate activation with On trade teams of key distributors/customers Collaborate and build relationships with KAM's and Brand Teams within the Distributor team(s) to ensure best in class execution in a timely manner Effectively plan, source, manage and implement On trade activation Collaborate with external parties (L3F agency, event agency, advertising agency, production house, etc.) for preparing promotion materials or sponsorship.

Profile Requirements (Education / Experience & Background / Skills & Competencies)

University degree holder preferably in Marketing Minimum 2-3 years relevant sales & marketing experience, preferably trade marketing experience in beer/ wine & spirit industry or Luxury industry Good working knowledge of on-trade and hospitality business Managing Agency Experience Proven track record of managing promotional activity and a good understanding of the brand/marketing function Creative, energetic, and proactive individual with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Strong relationship & influence management skills Good presentation, communication, analytical and negotiation skills Strong English skills (written/spoken) are mandatory Good command of MS Office
