Trade Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Full Time) Descriptions of Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Responsible for the long term and short-term strategies for Trade business development.
- Trade Management experience in Liner and feedering.
- To prepare KPI reports on performance evaluation and analysis, yield assessment for various market segments.
- To conduct market research and analysis to assist the strategic planning and provide analytical inputs to support day-to-day commercial decisions.
- Monitor competitors\xe2\x80\x99 activities and react to the market trends.
- Lead and coach teams to ensure execution and deliver the required lifting and contribution performances.
- Regularly update performance reports and market insights.
- Explore new potential business areas and effectively allocate volume and revenue with agents.
- To formulate business plan and pricing strategy related to Middle East / India Subcontinent and Asia corridors.
- Responsible for vessels utilization and yield management.
- To analyze market and competitor services and advising changes
- To achieve the target lifting and revenue levels with reference to budget result.
- To optimize contribution level through cargo-mix and customers segmentation, port pairs and equipment size and type.
- To coordinate with concerned agents to implement business plans with market forecast and/or change.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in container liner industry under trade or line in team management role.
- Team management experience and advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of company operations and costs structures.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be familiar with current computer programs used within the industry.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
