Introduction
IBM Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) is the single-source technology lifecycle service for supporting hybrid IT environments. This includes hardware and software support for IBM products, multi-vendor technology support (non-IBM Products), and open-source software support. These services are delivered both onsite and remotely, and include \xe2\x80\x9cHardware Break Fix\xe2\x80\x9d, Q&A, Configuration, Operations, Software Support, and Problem Determination enquiries from clients, along with project services.

Increasingly, business growth is building from clients who are seeking more from their support and onsite services which requires greater sophistication, accountability, service process consolidation, deeper expertise, advocacy and reporting across a wider range of hardware, software and operating system platforms. The TLS business is constantly transforming and evolving to provide technology support solutions in fields like IoT, Healthcare, Retail, Security & Surveillance, End Points, Open Source software & DevOps and many more.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a TLS Sales Specialist you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for developing and maintaining both enterprise and commercial client relationships. Using your prospecting skills to develop new business, you\xe2\x80\x99ll follow sales leads and support TSS in their growth into whitespace territories.

Working within a team of sellers, you\xe2\x80\x99ll strive to achieve growth targets, ensuring an active sales pipeline, facilitating pricing and quotations, and participate in sales campaigns and strategies. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be an advocate for the interests of clients whilst ensuring TLS and IBM\xe2\x80\x99s objectives are represented and fulfilled.

As a detailed orientated person, you\xe2\x80\x99ll find pleasure in producing offers and sales documentation. You\xe2\x80\x99ll find the pace of work to be agreeable in achieving a fantastic work/life balance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Ideally have proven experience selling in a multi-vendor environment
  • Strong proven experience in selling Oracle support
  • Proven experience in selling Microsoft support
  • A proven track record overachieving targets and budgets & maintaining a high level of activity
  • Clear and effective business communications skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding in range of infrastructure technologies
  • Knowledge of third-party Server & Storage, Networking and Open Source technologies is especially desirable
  • Knowledge of Oracle Support is mandatory
  • Proven relationship with key accounts within the UAE is an advantage
  • Passion for the job, Positive Attitude, Positive Energy, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity
