We are looking for an experienced

Production Engineer

to join our tissue paper manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring machine efficiency, maintaining product quality, and supporting continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily production activities for tissue converting and paper machines. Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal efficiency, speed, and output. Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime. Ensure all products meet quality standards (GSM, embossing, softness, strength, etc.). Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance. Implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity. Prepare daily production reports, material usage, and downtime analysis. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality management systems. Train and supervise machine operators, helpers, and line staff. Coordinate with planning, warehouse, and quality departments for smooth operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in tissue paper manufacturing or paper converting machines

(e.g., rewinder, log saw, napkin machine, jumbo roll manufacturing). Strong knowledge of production planning, machine operation, and troubleshooting. Understanding of quality control standards and ISO/HACCP systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead a team and work under pressure. Proficient in MS Office and production reporting.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automatic/semiautomatic converting lines. Knowledge of raw materials (pulp, jumbo rolls, cores, packaging). Familiar with OEE improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
