We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ticketing Agent / Outbound Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and tourism, along with strong communication skills and experience in outbound travel packages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of international trips for a range of clients of different backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients in planning and booking travel packages, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Contact airlines and negotiate best possible rates for travel packages.
Airline ticketing for Group Travel
Help with costing of trips to provide competitive price quotations to clients.
Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients based on their objectives, budget, and preferences.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to secure bookings and negotiate favorable rates.
Ensure all travel arrangements meet regulatory requirements and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions using our booking system.
Stay informed about industry trends, destination updates, and travel opportunities to provide the best possible service to clients.
Requirements:
Experience with GDS Systems (e.g Amadeus, Sabre or others) is a MUST
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred but not required.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written is essential.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outbound travel packages, preferably with Group Travel arrangements.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
