Role purpose: To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Testing Function which requires a highly capable and experienced SMEs for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation. Test Manager will provide a primary support responsible to oversee the delivery of Test Deliverables to services customers, establish policies designed to ensure consistently high service performance, monitors. coaches employees and evaluates customer feedback to develop quality improvement processes for assigned Projects (up to 15 resources) Areas of Work: Manual Testing / Automation Testing / Performance Testing / UX Testing / Env Management
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Identify Scope of Testing
Create & Review Test Strategy for Small and Medium sized Projects
Estimate the Effort required for Testing and Create & Review Test Plan for Small and Medium sized Projects
Design, Review and Execute Test scenarios / Test Cases
Guide the team in Requirement Closures, System Design, Development , Defects logging and Verification/Validation Tasks
Act as a point of contact for the customer for all technical communication anticipating technical risks and suggesting mitigation and recovery plans
Drive Defect Triage meeting. Accountable for service reviews, project reviews and reporting
Adherence to Test Process standards ATF, GTF, SLA and KPI Management.
Implement/update new/existing tools for various Testing activities
Handle Risks and Escalations and manage Stakeholders efficiently
Conduct maturity level assessment of the services and plan to increase maturity of overall service
Create traceability matrix & ensure availability of Test Data
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
+5 Years hands on experience on Testing Execution.
Proven hands-on experience with Agile Delivery.
ISTQB Testing Foundation Certificate.
Broad understanding of the Mobile (Android & IoS) Development and Testing Techniques.
Experience with ALM, Jira and Jenkins tools.
Experience on Automation, L&P and/or User Experience Testing.
BSc or MSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills.
Excellent Testing Experience and hands on experience in specialized domain (Mobile Applications, Web interface, IoT, Cloud…etc.!)
Excellent communication & presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)
Proven track record of software support with agile & CDI tools.
Good understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle.
Language requirements:
English (B2 or above)
