We can offer you the following tasks: Together with our colleagues around the world, you will help find the best solution for our new build customers. Therefore, the job requires that you have interest and experience in project sales. The job also requires that you can work independently while having a strong sense of teamwork and can work with people from many different cultures. As Product Manager you:
- Responsible for the bidding process for complex international energy projects, that use our core products like Reciprocating engines and gas turbines and combine them with innovative energy storage solutions (battery, power-to-gas) and integrated smart energy management systems.
- Analysis and clarification of the customer’s tender documents.
- Preparation of Budgetary and Firm Bids.
- Definition, planning and execution of the winning bid strategy for the preparation of competitive offers by working closely with Sales, Engineering and other related departments.
- Support Sales teams during the early development phase.
- Support in the preparation of execution time schedules.
- Calculation of the costs for the complete scope of supply and services of the bid, preparation of the contribution margin calculation.
- Conducting of technical contract negotiations with the customer.
You can help us with these qualifications: - Master or Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, power plant engineering, plant engineering, industrial engineering or similar qualification.
- Experience in working with teams with a responsible and collaborative working style as well as experience in project management.
- Good knowledge of plant construction, particularly in the power plant industry and in large diesel engines.
- International attitude.
- Business fluent English is mandatory and a second foreign language is desirable.
- Willingness to travel and stay overseas, also for extended periods of time.
