Job Description

1) Tender Review & Cost Estimation

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and project requirements. Prepare accurate BOQ take-off for

softscape, hardscape, irrigation networks, agricultural works, greenhouses, and nursery operations

. Develop cost estimates for materials, plants, fertilizers, equipment, agricultural inputs, labor, subcontractors, and overheads. Prepare detailed and competitive financial proposals. Coordinate with procurement to obtain updated quotations for all landscape and agricultural materials.

2) Landscaping & Agriculture Technical Expertise

Softscape:

Trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers, seasonal flowers, turfing, soil types, mulching, planting methods.

Hardscape:

Paving, walkways, curbstone, pergolas, retaining walls, street furniture, water features.

Irrigation Systems:

Drip, sprinkler, pumping systems, control valves, filtration, water tank sizing, irrigation schematics.

Agriculture:

Soil preparation, fertilizers, pesticides, plant nutrition, irrigation scheduling.

Nurseries:

Seedlings, propagation, growth cycles, plant sizing, nursery operations, potting mixes.

Greenhouses:

Structures, shading systems, climate control, growing media, irrigation requirements.

Soil & Fertilizers:

Types, blends, amendments, NPK ratios, organic fertilizers, soil improvement materials.

3) Cost Analysis & Value Engineering

Evaluate cost drivers and propose value engineering alternatives. Analyze market rates, suppliers, and competitors' pricing strategies. Identify project risks and include contingency factors accordingly.

4) Coordination & Documentation

Liaise with design, agriculture, irrigation, procurement, and project execution teams. Prepare clarifications, RFIs, and respond to client tender queries. Develop and maintain databases for material prices, plants, fertilizers, and nursery stock. Ensure all submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

Requirements:Mandatory Industry Experience (??? ?????):

Minimum 3-5 years experience in:

Softscape Hardscape Irrigation Agriculture Landscaping & Afforestation Tender Pricing Experience in pricing large-scale landscape projects (Giga, compounds, parks, resorts, public spaces).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Civil / Landscape Architecture / Architecture . Strong BOQ, estimation, and technical drawing reading skills. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. Strong negotiation experience with suppliers and subcontractors. Good communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of KSA market prices Ability to handle multiple tenders under pressure. Primavera knowledge is a plus.
