Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Junior Estimation Engineer (Civil)

with at least

2 years of experience

in estimation related to

waterproofing, structural repair and refurbishment works

. The ideal candidate will support the tendering and estimation process by preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals for specialized civil works projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications related to waterproofing, concrete repair, and structural strengthening projects. Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor works. Prepare BOQs, cost sheets, and assist in pricing tenders. Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Support the technical team in preparing method statements and technical proposals for bids. Coordinate with project and procurement teams for cost inputs and historical data. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials, and application techniques for waterproofing and repair works. Ensure timely and compliant submission of tenders and quotations. Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client discussions when required. Maintain organized records of past estimates, quotations, and project cost data.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience

in estimation for

civil works

, especially in

waterproofing, structural repair and refurbishment works

. Familiar with materials and systems such as membranes, coatings, injection grouting, FRP wrapping, jacketing, etc. Good knowledge of relevant standards, specifications, and application methods. Proficient in MS Excel;

knowledge of AutoCAD and estimation software is a must.

Strong analytical and numerical skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in handling estimation for both refurbishment and new construction projects. Familiarity with local construction practices and market rates. Exposure to industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
