Tender Engineer (gn)

We are looking for an experienced Tender Engineer (gn) for our location Abu Dhabi.

Your tasks:

• Review terms and conditions and highlight any areas of concern for consideration associated with Tender process
• Participate in Risk Analysis process of Project/Tender viability and present to Tender Manager
• Participate in the Bid/No Bid process to validate opportunities
• Manage and keep up to date the Tender filing system and provide any improvements and recommendations to its execution
• Co-ordinate and manage the submission of Tender response and quotations, including management pre-qualification and tender documents with the relevant interfaces and ensure that all enquiries are logged
• Introduce new processes and procedures to help improve workflow between all parties involved in project management process and instill a professional way of working i.e., responsibilities/compliance matrix, better flow of information, meeting requests
• Provide contract and pricing analysis support for Tender Manager and sales team for reviews, fixed price proposals and tenders
• Ensure contract extensions and price structure amendments are monitored and recorded
• Provide any ad-hoc reporting for Tender Manager
• Understand and execute the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in BAUER
• Fully adhere to the BAUER\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s HSE Policy requirements throughout the duty-hours

Your profile:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree is a plus
• The ability to identify any key legal issues which require review and provide appropriate comments for consideration prior to tender response
• 5-7 years of experience in contracts/sales department, with at least 3 years in a role of compiling proposal / tender response
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in spoken and written English
