By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every day Overview of the role: To act on behalf of the Landlord as his representative to coordinate Tenants designs & fitout, to ensure these are compliant with the Landlords specifications, design guidelines and lease requirements, so the Tenant opens on the required centre opening date.
What you will do
  • Review Lease agreements (AFL) and prepare the Tenant Requirement Summary sheet (TRS)
  • Monitor base build conditions of allocated units. Prior to unit handover snag with the base build contractor to ensure the handover to the Tenants is as per the Lease agreement.
  • Handover allocated units to Tenants upon nominated access date.
  • Work closely with the Landlords Retail Design Team (RDT) to ensure compliance with the Landlords design criteria and Tenants are working within agreed milestone specific to concept and detailed design submittals.
  • Monitor design and construction progress as fitout continues and Troubleshoot potential design, construction and programme issues.
  • Process, monitor and drive change control requests to allocated units to EI’s and ensure changes as highlighted are being made on site.
  • Ensure the Tenants have paid in full all their financial obligations prior to consent to trade certificate being issued.

JOB CONTEXT: The Tenant Coordinator (TC) will report to the Senior Tenant Coordinator allocated to them, however, channels exists for the TC to directly communicate with the Head of the Tenant Coordination department at weekly meetings or as and when required

What equips you for the role:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Degree or equivalent level of education in any discipline preferable but not mandatory, dependent on previous experience and aptitude.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as TC in the Retail industry with ssound knowledge of Tenancy procedure and regulations in the UAE.
