The Telephone Operator is responsible for handling all internal and external calls in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring accurate communication and excellent guest service. Fluency in
Russian
is required to support Russian-speaking guests and provide clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls promptly and professionally
Handle guest inquiries and requests via telephone
Provide hotel information, services, and facilities to callers
Take and relay accurate messages to relevant departments or individuals
Assist with wake-up call requests and reminders
Maintain updated internal directory of departments and extensions
Record and log all calls as required by hotel procedures
Handle emergency calls and follow safety and security procedures
Support Front Office and Guest Relations with guest communication needs
Uphold confidentiality and privacy of guest information at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience as a telephone operator, receptionist, or in customer service preferred
Fluency in Russian is required
; English proficiency is essential
Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
Basic computer skills and experience with PBX/telephone systems preferred
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
