Telecom Technician
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:

• Performs fault diagnosis investigations and carries out rectification tasks as per Procedures /standards of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Corporate policies and guidelines of the organization
• Attends to shift/call-out/remote-station duties on 24x7 basis as assigned.
• Reviews with Team Leader the work practices, Tools, test equipment and spares,follows- up as required.
• Reports on physical condition and safety/security of equipment and systems.
• Follows-up on the operational logs/ Network alarms in close coordination with Shift Engineer and strives to clear the faults within the set KPI's.
• Performs complex/non-routine trouble shooting and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Analyzes, follows up & resolves complex O&M issues in respect of the assigned Access Network Maintenance systems.
• Reports on theft & damage case observed during site visits & provides the details to the superiors to create Incident report to be forwarded to concerned sections for follow up.
• Ensures that the work sites are clean, safety guidelines are followed, and the work practices are in conformity with procedures and standards of customers.
• Guides the contractors' site personnel as required.
• Should carryout independent site visits & have Valid UAE Driving license.
• Audit activities / JV with outsourced Contractor / managed services / contractor staff / External Authority & report for discrepancies observed
