Job Description



Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Front line sales of Telecom products especially in the field of Optical Test & Measurement products, Fiber testing and installation products and monitoring systems.
  • RF test and measurement systems.
  • Promote T&M products, systems, and solutions by organizing and executing customers activities, such as presentations, seminars, demonstrations, and training sessions. (Site and virtual)
  • Recommend technical solutions to end users and identify potential opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Identify potential clients and conduct market research to understand industry trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and build professional relationship with end users and build new sales opportunities in the area.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Ensure that proposals align with the client\'s technical requirements and budget constraints.
  • Provide training and educational resources to clients on the use of test and measurement equipment.
  • Conduct workshops or webinars to help clients optimize their telecom infrastructure.
  • Prepare regular reports for the management team on sales performance and market insights.
  • Travel domestically and regionally to customer and company locations as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in telecom sales with a focus on test and measurement equipment.
  • Experience working with products from the below companies or similar is a must.
  • EXFO Test and Measurement manufactures SUMITOMO Splicing Machines SPECTRACOM or sync solutions, NTP servers etc
  • Exposure to network monitoring and service assurance solution would be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecom technologies not limited to optical and network test equipment\'s.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
