What you'll be doing:

• Drafting a wide array of commercial contracts, usually with a technology element to the work.
• Structuring and refining frameworks in which commercial deals can be done.
• Refining workstreams, creating efficiency and aligning any compliance and regulatory needs.
• Liaising with outside counsel as well as external third parties or joint venture clients.

Who you'll likely need to be, in order to succeed:
Whilst there is a degree of flexibility, there are some core guidelines that make the backbone of the client expectations:

• A Common Law training background, with experience from either international standard law firms or corporates (ideally both).
• Ideally you'll have experience of helping clients turn R&D technology concepts into commercialised deals.
• You'll need to be commercially driven, smart and agile in your approach.
• A skill set of general commercial, tech, and IP.
• Overseas applicants are welcome, but Middle East exposure is always preferred.
• We're happy to speak to commercial tech lawyers from 2-20 PQE.
