Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud applications including EPBCS, FCCS, and ARCS. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining cloud application artifacts, preparing key deliverables, and implementing best practices and business processes. You will engage with key business users for enhancements, conduct training sessions, and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for system integration testing, production transition, and adherence to documentation standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance or equivalent degree, possess Oracle Professional Certifications, and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include expertise in EPM financial systems, proficiency in Oracle FCCS, and knowledge of financial accounting principles. Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a focus on quality and customer satisfaction are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, development and maintenance of EPBCS, FCCS and ARCS cloud applications application and artefacts.
• Preparation of key deliverables such as requirements documents, design documents, test plans, training materials and solution delivery.
• Implement the best practice, solution, and methodology and business process.
• Involve in meeting with key business users on a regular basis on EPM Cloud-related enhancements.
• Give Oracle EPM Cloud -related training to users, whenever necessary.
• Demonstrates proven knowledge and experience with leading practices in Financial Master Data Management.
• Responsible for design, implementation, and support of master data management applications and familiarity with ERP/EPM/BI applications.
• Responsible for EPM integrations, Data Management, and Cloud native solutions e.g. OIC and OC
• Technical consultant coordinates with the business users to provide the resolution and fixes for EPM support calls to ensure the smooth functioning of business operations.
• Prepare release plans for system enhancement requests.
• Work with functional consultants of Oracle Fusion finance, procurement and HCM for requirements to solution mapping and gap analysis.
• Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building.
• Perform System integration testing and liaise with end users for user acceptance testing.
• Carry out production transition and deployment of Integrations, PaaS and SaaS extensions in accordance with the change management process.
• Adherence to TCM / AIM methodology-based documentation for enhancements and projects.
• Open Technical Assistance Requests with Oracle Support and follow up to resolution.

Primary Skills

• 3+ years of total software development, architecture, and solution design experience with minimum 2 End to End Oracle EPM Cloud implementation/support covering EPBCS, FCCS and ARCS cloud applications.
• Must have at least three(3) plus years of working experience in Oracle EPM, finance performance management, financial systems and transformation with proficiency in all areas of the system life cycle from assessment, requirements gathering, build, training and support.
• Should have Implemented projects with Oracle FCCS (Financial Cloud and Consolidation Service) and developed artefacts starting from Metadata creation/updates, setting up Ownership module, catering to Intercompany eliminations in FCCS, creating validation accounts, Data locking.
• Sound knowledge on financial accounting concepts and principles, intercompany transactions and currency translations.
• Prior experience and sound knowledge on Full life cycle EPM financial systems solutions for budgeting, forecasting, allocations, financial consolidation & amp; closing, management reporting, account reconciliation and Profitability and Cost Management.
• Should have prior hands-on experience in design business process and modify the EPBCS, FCCS and ARCS cloud applications and its artefacts to suite the business operational needs.
• Need to have experience in EPM financial systems including EPBCS, PBCS, Narrative reporting, Planning, Essbase, CDM and EDMCS.
• Designing data integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP and EDM.
• Data Management - Building integrations using FDMEE/Data Management.
• Loading metadata into PBCS applications and building allocations.
• Creating Smart View templates/retrieval sheets.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience of ASO/BSO cube development.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience of Business Rules functions and commands.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience of EPBCS dimensionality, building metadata, calc scripts, designing and developing web forms, task list, reports, building dashboards.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience in creating a budget approval process.
• Experience in EPM Security roles and responsibilities and building dashboards and info lets.
• Strong understanding of CDM mappings and configs, building integration scripts and automating loads for inbound and outbound interface using EPM Automate.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience in spreadsheet skills and the ability to use Smart View data grids and functions.
• Well-versed in the fundamentals of data management and data governance.
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts and master data management best practices.
• Proficiency in the creation of Registering Applications, managing Node Types, properties, Viewpoints, Create Requests, Export Data, User access setup, Migration, and Automate tasks in EDMCS. Proficient in building designing and building required Exports for downstream applications in EDMCS.
• Should have experience in creating Imports, Blenders, and loading metadata using Action scripts in EDMCS.
• Sound Knowledge in designing and implementing Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS) solutions.
• Deep understanding of the metadata, dimensions, attributes, and integration with Oracle Financial Cloud and other Cloud EPM products like EPBCS/FCCS/ARCS.
• Should have hands-on Experience in REST APIs, Oracle Data Management/FDMEE, PowerShell, and Groovy.
• Sound knowledge and hands on experience of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in and Smart View.
• Sound knowledge and prior hands-on experience in Standard EPM scripting knowledge (aka, Oracle calculation script) is essential. This is needed for writing custom consolidations, translation logic, business rules, data management and EPM automation.
• Understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL.
• Proficient on TCM and AIM Methodologies.
• Should have good analytical skills to analyze the support issues and provide required fix in line with Oracle Fusion standards and industry best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity in preparing Solution Design Documents (SDD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), Validation Scripts and User Manuals will be an added advantage.
• Ability to conduct FAM, Business Process Workshops (BPW), Playback, SIT and UAT Sessions.
• Sound Understanding of Business Processes and capabilities within SaaS and across Industries/verticals/processes.
• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation processes.
• Experience with Transaction Matching and sub-ledger integration will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Autosys Scheduling, Unix/Windows Shell Scripting, OBIEE, OTBI, BI Publisher, Power BI or Tableau expertise.
• Working Experience on IT Service Management Applications such as HPSM, Service NOW, Jira..
