Job Summary
Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance Jobs. Needs to be well versed with mechanical maintenance of separators, pumps, agitators and conveyors used in edible oil chemical & physical refining plants.
Key Responsibility Areas

• Perform Preventive, corrective and Breakdown Maintenance Jobs
• Mechanical Maintenance of various types of centrifugal separators (auto desludging and manual cleaning)
• Mechanical Maintenance of various types of heat exchangers (plate type and shell-tube type)
• Mechanical Maintenance of pumps (centrifugal, gear, screw, diaphragm) and agitators (side entry and top entry)
• Mechanical Maintenance of gear boxes and motors
• Mechanical Maintenance of pressure leaf filters (vertical and horizontal)
• Mechanical Maintenance of all types of industrial valves (oil, steam, air and gas application)
• Mechanical Maintenance of high shear dynamic mixers and static mixers
• Mechanical Maintenance of rotary and reciprocating compressors
• Operational knowledge and Mechanical Maintenance of fire tube and water tube boilers (FO, diesel and CNG fired)
• Mechanical Maintenance of hydrogen generation electrolytic cells and water treatment DM/RO plant
• Mechanical Maintenance of wooden and FRP cooling towers
• Mechanical Maintenance and trouble shooting of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and components
• Knowledge and experience in lubricant applications (oil and grease)
• Experience in Desmet oil refining technology is preferred
• Experience in Westfalia oil refining technology is preferred
• Awareness and compliance of food safety procedures, GMP, 5S, use of PPE and work permit systems
• Must be able to identify spare parts with help of drawings and manuals
• Must be able to read and understand technical drawing and manuals in English language
• Working knowledge on work order creation, work order closing, material requisition etc. through ERP system like Oracle eAM or SAP

Key Performance Indicators

• Maintenance and trouble shooting of separators, mixers, heat exchangers, pumps, gear boxes, agitators and valves
• Work order closing, material requisition etc. through ERP system like Oracle eAM or SAP.

• 8 Years+ Experience in veg oil refining plants 8 Years+
