Technician - Kitchen Equipment

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on bakery equipment to identify and address issues promptly. Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule to keep equipment in optimal condition. Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in bakery equipment. Order, replace, or repair damaged components or parts to minimize downtime. Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies promptly to ensure minimal production disruptions.

Installation and Calibration:

Install, set up, and calibrate new bakery equipment as needed. Ensure that equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.

Equipment Upgrades:

Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and upgrades to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Collaborate with the management team to recommend and implement upgrades.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that all bakery equipment complies with health and safety regulations. Train bakery staff on safe equipment operation and use.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history. Generate reports and document equipment performance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or coursework in equipment repair, HVAC, or related fields are a plus. Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician, preferably in an industrial bakery Industry. Strong knowledge of bakery equipment (Salva Ovens , Salva / other Brand Dough Sheeter & Mixer), electrical systems (DB modification, breaker / ELCB changing), plumbing (Installation of new pipe lines, water heater installation and other plumbing works as needed ), and HVAC systems includes (Walk in chiller - open type compressor or concealed compressor , walk in freezer -open type compressor or concealed compressor ,FCU , AHU , Package unit). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with bakery staff and management.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, including occasional weekends or evening shifts as needed.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
