Job Description
Installation
: Install fans, dampers, ductwork, and control panels for smoke management systems according to design plans and building codes.Maintenance
: Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance to ensure all parts of the system are in good working order, including testing components like fans and dampers.Repair
: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, responding to service calls to fix issues quickly.Testing and commissioning
: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of the entire system after installation to ensure it functions correctly under various scenarios and meets all safety standards.Documentation
: Keep detailed records of maintenance, testing, and repairs.Emergency response
: Ensure the system is ready to operate manually in an emergency, often by providing access to the fire override panel for first responders.Job Type: Contract
