Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Dubai Creek, the hotel offers 292 rooms and suites, 21 meeting rooms, four restaurants, an award-winning spa and access to sports and leisure complex, The Aviation Club. About the Job:

To ensure plant and equipment is maintained according to Jumeirah engineering management systems policies

Your main duties will include:

• Checking and rectifying all the repairs, maintenance & construction works as directed which reflects on the standard of the Hotel.
• Will be tasked with handling guest room complaints so knowledge in minor works such as carpentry, painting, grouting is an added advantage
• Ensure all the ice machines, fridges, cold rooms, Walk-in Freezer, Plant rooms, HVAC, chillers equipment are tested and maintained as per requirements.
• Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA\'s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.
• In-depth knowledge of Refrigeration, AHU, FCU, Split A/c, Cassette, Ecology, Exhaust and Air cooled & Water-Cooled chiller units including the different type of refrigerant gases is a must.
• In-depth Knowledge of HVAC equipment maintenance and repairs.
• To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require
• Effectively Handle the All Duty shifts (morning, evening & night)
• Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing equipment maintenance and repairs is an added advantage.
• Identification of HVAC /Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing spares & FLS equipment.
• Good all round skills / high standard.
• Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.
• Knowledge of Building Management System.
• Basics Knowledge and understanding of engineering related drawings.
• To select correct materials from engineering stores.
• To perform other duties that the management may from time to time reasonably require
• Work on own initiative without full detailed supervision or direction.
• To ensure safe working conditions for yourself and your colleagues and report to senior colleagues of any unsafe working conditions.
• To ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition

Qualifications

Essential:

• At least High School diploma with Trade certificate related to the vacancy

Experience:

• Min 2 years experience in hotel engineering field or 5 years general engineering / construction work experience

Skills

• Good command of English Language - spoken and written
• General Knowledge about Mechanical, Plumbing and other trades
