Job Purpose:

Carryout the condition monitoring of electrical equipment to ensure their reliability at higher performance levels in order to support/maintain the business continuity.

Key Accountabilities:

Condition Monitoring Activities

• Carry out the condition monitoring works safely in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\'s) and statutory requirements. Raise work orders for abnormalities in the Maintenance Management System for further action.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities based on CMMS work orders and testing of electrical equipment to ensure their healthiness and high performance.
• Carry out continuous electrical machinery verifications to identify signs of flaws and ensure equipment quality and uniformity. Report any arising problem.
• Carry out periodic inspection and predictive maintenance checks on electrical equipment such as motors, switchgears, UPS, battery, transformer, distribution boards and cables to ensure their optimum performance.
• Perform Condition Monitoring by using techniques such as thermography, partial discharge analysis, ultrasound, battery impedance measurement, and oil analysis. Report any encountered flaws to ensure timely solution and avoid work disruption.
• Coordinate/follow-up the routine maintenance/repair of machinery and equipment to ensure their smooth running to support the operational activities.
• Record and analyze the electrical condition of new equipment based on no load/ load run performance test for the equipment quality assurance.

• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.

Training

• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Tool Box

• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management

• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Condition Monitoring Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

Housekeeping

• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports

• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare progress reports for Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

Communication & Working Relationships:

Internal

• Regular work related contacts with the Team Leader and team members on work related matters.

External

• As specified.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Minimum Qualification

• Holder of Electrical Diploma or equivalent or Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 4 years of experience in carrying out overall maintenance of condition monitoring of electrical equipment within a large industrial plant, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Good knowledge about maintenance, testing, repair, installation, and condition monitoring of electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in using MS Word or Excel

• Knowledge of HSE procedures and practices.
• Scheduling and co-ordinating, checking, examining, and recording.

Professional Certifications

• Experience in Condition monitoring such as thermography, ultrasound, partial discharge, having certifications or holder of accredited trainings will be an advantage.
