What you\'ll do We are seeking a skilled technical writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and other related materials. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical writing skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:
- Create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for our software products.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand product requirements and features.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation templates, standards, and guidelines specific to our software products.
- Conduct research and gather information necessary to produce high-quality technical content, including through interactions with customers, subject matter experts, and product owners.
- Edit and proofread technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Ensure that technical documentation meets regulatory compliance requirements, where applicable.
- Participate in software development projects to provide input on technical documentation requirements and deliverables.
- Review and provide feedback on technical documentation produced by other team members.
- Bachelor\'s degree in technical communication, computer science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software technical writing
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and accuracy.
- Experience working with software subject matter experts, product owners, and developers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, including agile and DevOps.
- Experience with software documentation for web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud-based services is a plus.
