Job Description

Technical and commercial quotation support / quotation preparation in the market segment petro-chemical for intercompany & external agent business with all sales divisions. Technical support to the field sales in the role of a competence centre for Petrochemical pumps. Selection of suitable product variants outside the company's standard. - Support of local sales teams with application expertise. - Understanding of technical and commercial specifications and preparation or support of corresponding offers independently in accordance with all relevant directives - Support of local sales teams / field sales in all technical and commercial questions with focus on small & medium size projects. - Stearing of multi factory projects. That means projects with pumps coming from different factories. - Representation of the group and supporting the local field sales in defending of technical offers in front of the customer. - Accompany field sales colleagues to the customer if required, especially with regard to planners, planning engineers, design institutes, municipalities and public authorities. Involvement at the upstream of project and influencing tenders at the very early phase of a project. - Transfer the won projects to the order processing department of the respective plant including participation in Kick-Off-Meetings in close consultation with the field sales colleagues. - Act as an Interface between the local sales and application Center, product management, design departments, key account management and business development - Prepare structured reporting for the activities in the region. - Cost responsibility and control - Implement & coordinate Market segment initiatives in the region Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Rotational Equipment (pumps) and Systems - Knowledge of Petrochemical, Oil & Gas processes - Best knowledge of the competition's products and awareness of the USPs (unique selling points) with regard to the above mentioned pump types. - Experience in specific pump systems and related sales environment an advantage Qualifications (technical and personal competencies) Education Completed engineering science studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, supply engineering, industrial engineering) or comparable qualification Specific knowledge and skills: - Independent and structured work - Analytical and conceptual thinking - team player, communicative, intercultural competence - Identifying and passing on improvement possibilities in the sense of CIP (continuous improvement process) - Knowledge of regional particularities - Willingness to travel - Enthusiasm, self-motivation and willingness to perform Languages: - English and French - fluent level; Arabic - native or bilingual level.
